Making Things New...
Those of you who have enjoyed Housewife University are welcome to join my new season of life and all the plethra of genres that follow it. I am still very much a homemaker and International service worker. A lot has happened in my missing blog years. I unfortunately had experienced two miscarriages and in the middle of all that we were in the process to adopt from China. After the second miscarriage I was inspired to write this poem. A Mourner's Autumn Run Jetting along birch trees congregated, yet alone, No longer clothed by sheltered leaves, Unwarned, detached are their stems to earth’s surface, Though the world despises this mortal foliage, It composts its way to sanctify these grafted mourners, Their bareness waits for winter’s wake, Where snow descends to comfort loss, Though not all lost where hope in Christ remains, For Spring shall unfold and new buds shall appear, Where trust...
