Summer's End...

Summer has ended and the kids are back in school. I have the priveledge of homeschooling a few other kiddos this year. This means planning. I am just getting back in the groove of schedule and where I need to be at this and that time. Otherwise I really can't complain. Exciting things happening around the Sivonen household as well as for our community. Boy's are enjoying their round of football (For you American's, soccer) and the girls begin muskari this week.

I have accomplished quite a bit of projects this year and can't wait to share. (Eventhough I tell myself to lesson the projects, I find the creativity just ooozzzing out of me).

This may have been our busiest summer yet. Really. I am a homebody. My man, adventurest. I have learned actually it is good for us to get away sometimes...My parents visited this summer, We went to camps, Visited Germany for our annual meeting (and was seriously sick from training in high altitude), went to our tradional place in Karelia, visied Kuopio, a wedding...busy I say.

The kids have learned so much from their aunts and uncles this year: Fishing (Tuomo), Choosing and Cooking organic food (Olli), Adventure camp stuff (Adam and Jani) and the list goes on...I've drawn a blank. But, for the sake of blogging, here's my post!

WHAT DID YOU DO THIS SUMMER?

What a beautiful new family picture!

And thanks again that you made it possible for us to meet in between all your very busy days! I hope we'll find some time again, when there's less going on!

Up here in Oulu, the summer comes to an end, too. But not without some beautiful weather. I enjoy the colourful leaves and even went into the lake today! :)

Take care! Judith
