Äitien Teekutsu

The mother's tea went well today...at least I thought. 4 neighbors arrived plus my friend Heini who came with Frida. Can you see how excited Timothy was to greet her! (BTW, you see all those wires in the background? I think I got some protection to do!).

My Finglish Friend was recoverying from being ill and others did not show. Lord willing, next time ladies!

I woke up this morning and prayer walked and cut some blossoms off a tree for decoration. I began baking and setting the table. Mikko was truly helpful and made me stop to pray because he could see my mind racing. What a man!

My neighbor even came early to pray with me because today I shared my Christian Story in Finnish. I was nervous and a little shakey. I offered a Bible study in the Fall and some responded for that.

It was so good to meet you ladies. Be patient with my Finnish if your reading AND understanding this!

You ladies are surely a blessing to me! We must have more teas like this. Thanks for your part in providing food or what-not!

Friends and Table Setting.

Hemtex had a sale, so I was able to purchase a nice table cloth and candle holders for the tea and future hostessing.
