New Years Fireworks in Finland

Past few days the local markets have had vendors selling all sorts of fireworks. Young punks in our town square even set them off in full view of the public in broad daylight. One man was trying to get money from a cash machine and they set it off right behind him!
They started blasting away at 5p.m. until who knows 1a.m.!
Last year was fun with some friends from the Baptist church. This year, sick t.j. with cough and and ear ache. Mikko visited the international church party and will shortly return so I can visit our neighbors little party.
Tomorrow morning will be covered in smoke and trash. Yes, in clean beautiful Finland! I guess this "least corrupt" country gets their anger out with rocket launchers. Last year my classmate, Mari, said she saw some dude with a rocket launcher on his shoulder on her way to see us. So different than home! It's totally illegal in So-Cal. Most folks go to Mexico to sneak stuff back to the States.
So if your wondering why our prayerletter is late, I'm nursin' t-bone back to health!
