Pacifiers in Finland

Ok, I may be stepping on some toes here friends...

But in Finland I see way too many children with pacifiers. I have a hard time knowing many of them use them until ages 4 and up.

My neighbor's boy, who is 3 and a half finally went to the forest for Easter to burry his Paci or Tutti in the ground so the poor unfortunate "baby bunnies" who don't have Pacies can find them. She said many of her friends do it the same way. Interesting...

My boys never liked pacies even when I tried. But after seeing children trying to speak with plastic in there mouth....

I don't know. My boys are learning two languages and I think the last thing they need is plastic in their mouth.

And don't worry, I have my own issues, like getting B to stop putting his thumb in his mouth at night time. I surely can't take his thumbs away...can I?
