Language Learning at One Week Check-Up

Dude, she gained 200 grams! That is 7.1 ounces! Oooohhhh. She is nursing well and several times slept the whole night! Wow...
Meanwhile at this appointment the health nurse is explaining how to care for her belly button. I told her to speak slow because I don't know a lot of Finnish.
This is what I understood:
Ok, It is very important to care for this belly button because you do not want to risk infection. Do not bathe the baby completely because BLAH BLAH BLAH infection.
If it does get infected you will have to use BLAH BLAH BLAH medicine.
Do not use BLAH BLAH BLAH.
You can bathe her with a wet clothe, just don't wash her belly button or it will BLAH BLAH BLAH.
Call us if her belly button, BLAH BLAH BLAH or looks like BLAH BLAH BLAH.
Let's make an appointment for next week to look at her belly button to make sure she does not have BLAH BLAH BLAH.

Ok, so like, I did stop her in between all this and asked, but still didn't understand completely. She even said more BLAH BLAH BLAH and I was stumped. Hence the need to learn Finnish!

I started Finnish this week and plan on bringing little P. She slept the whole time during class and woke when it ended! I think it is a good class for me, just hope little one can sleep the whole time!
