Death, Life, and ER

Recently, two special people have passed away. One, my collegemate Mark Lamberth. He was in an intense bike accident and for quite some time. Unconscious he made it to his 10th wedding anniversary. His wife and son, are on this side of Heaven. He loved Jesus from what I knew of him, and seemed to have a sweet tender spirit. The pictures here are ones my mother had taken of Mikko's 30th in southern California. We'll miss you Mark! The website set up for him is:

I think it would do more justice to read the site than hear from myself. Secondly, an aquaintance who worked in Finland with her husband in a Bible school and International church plant passed away last Sunday of ALS disease back in the states. She didn't complete her last blog entry, you should read it. She was quite some lady! One of the most positive women I have met personally. Jesus was her best friend! I had the opportunnity to buy her cookbook she had published. Many of us in the International Church brag about having this book. She put all the best recipes she loved here and even left a note to her children and husband about the recipe. I'll try to see if there are anymore left! Meanwhile, check out her site here:

On another note, I am getting over an annoying cough. During the wintertime I try to take the boys out every day for some sunshine or fresh air. I sometimes meet my neighbors in the yard, but lately two of them just had baby boys, so I am waiting until they are ready to come out with the wee ones! I've been able to clear alot of clutter too, which involves cleaning! In fact, I am typing with crippled fingers. Silly me, I was trying to get wax out of a candle holder to put new candles in. The end result: A trip to the ER. We had quests and they kindly watched the boys and did the dishes! The doctor that saw me for my silliness actually was in the army with Mikko! Sharing the same smelly tent and everything! After applying superglue to my throbbing right hand Mikko began changing diapers for me, and not to mention grounding me from playing with candles...

Hi friend, just thinking of you. I am still oh so thankful for the things you sent Losiah. I still squeeze him in that green jacket! And the girls reference you as Santa Clause neighbor! ;) I hope you are doing good. H
