Naisten Päivää-Ladies Day
Tiitus 2:3-5 “niin myös vanhat naiset olkoot käytöksessään niinkuin pyhien sopii, ei panettelijoita, ei paljon viinin orjia, vaan hyvään neuvojia, voidakseen ohjata nuoria vaimoja rakastamaan miehiänsä ja lapsiansa, olemaan siveitä, puhtaita, kotinsa hoitajia, hyviä, miehilleen alamaisia, ettei Jumalan sana pilkatuksi tulisi.”
Efes.
Let me share a little about my heart for ministry….
My desire is for those that I meet is that they would have an intimate relationship with Jesus, and find their hope in His life, death, and resurrection!
Secondly, women of all ages, particularly younger woman would rise up and set a higher standard of self-control and purity in Christ Jesus.
That we would make God look good in a world that doesn’t wait, isn’t self-controlled, nor patient. My prayer is that we would trust God with his provision and be completely satisfied in Him.
It is completely natural to want a husband, but not as to compromise your purity and integrity before God. He will bless you if you wait and it’s never too late to change.
For those of us married, that we would be examples for those single or dating of what it is to be a godly wife or mother as read in Titus 2:3-5, and Ephesians 5:22-24.
As wives, we carry the primary responsibility for the day-to-day care of our homes and children. At the same time supporting our husband’s leadership role in the family.
A woman can obviously work outside the home as we see in Proverbs 31:16,18, and24:
Lastly, I pray that the church can embrace mentoring and accountability. That older woman teach younger woman. That they would let themselves be available to their daughters, and other young ladies. It may not look formal as in some program or seminar but rather meeting in homes or coffee shops. It can be done through a phone call, email, Face book, text message.
I pray that today you can relax and have a little fun. Learn from each other and be encouraged!

My parents have both stepped up to be mentors at their church. They have a great program set up where older women mentor younger women (men, too), and where stronger Christians are able to mentor new believers or those who need growth. They get together with their mentees on a weekly basis, and often go through a book or Bible study together. With modern technology, you're right, there is so much that can be done remotely.
Pre-tty snazzy. :)
Miss you!
