B is for Bible and B

In about a week my oldest turns 4! I so can't believe that I spent 3 hours trying to squeeze the largest head my homebirth midwife had ever delivered. That's why you're so smart Bubba!

It blows my mind... God has been showing how important it is that I spend time with him. Deciding to homeschool may be best for us. When I actually get down and cover Bible, Math and Reading we both have a great time together. T.J. is playing with legos or drawing when he wants to believe that he is playing school too. Priscilla is chillin' on the balcony or suckin' on her fingers. It's not always easy, but I really enjoy it!

The above picture was drawn by himself. He said it was a crown for himself. (I was hoping he'd say for Jesus...but no.)

Yesterday, I realized he put on his winter clothes by himself, slid down the hill by himself (including cool tricks). He even offered that we go ahead of him when on top of the hill. He responds positively to direction and correction....amazing God we have. He writes his own name now and enjoys learning about God and obeying us! (Okay, he isn't perfect, but I have to say I am amazed).

He also wants to sing a song for his birthday by Dana Dirksen. You have to get her music; catchy, scriptual. We all love it!

A bible we use that many have asked about is:

Enjoy!

Cool, Heidi! Be sure and post any tips you come across in your homeschool venture --- I'd be all ears (or, um... eyes).
