Spain Trip Part One

Here is a little picture teaser for the grandparents. Keep in mind my in-laws are stuck in Spain waiting because of this whole crazy airplanes not taking off due to the lovely volcano God ochestrated.

We were planning to come home Thursday, however as we came from Barcelona (via Malaga) to Copenhagen we found that that was not happening. While playing in the family play area, Mikko arrives telling the marvelous news. We get free taxi tickets to a hotel nearby. We stayed there two nights, and was hoping to stay with a pastor and his family (of which he hosted us for the afternoon in his lovely home) if we were stuck indeffinately. However, the following day a bus was offered to Stockholm (mind you that is like driving from Riverside to San Fransisco). We stayed one night in a marvelous room, I MEAN MARVELOUS ROOM (thank you Uncle Danny for SAS), it was like am studio appartment with EVERYTHING except a washmachine. The next day we were told the generator and engine overheated JUST as we arrived at the hotel al midnight! Thank you Lord for protecting us! Took the same bus and arrived at the boat dock in Stockholm and the bus overheated again, Thank you Lord once again. Spent the night on the boat and made it home! All rooms and transportation was paid for (even some meals) except when we got on the boat and paid for a cabin (of which we were told there was none) Thank you Lord once again (we almost slept in a conference room, which I did not mind, we were going home).

The kids were great and we even got to serve and share the good news with someone. More pics and stories to come...
