Another Use: Baby Powder Bottles

I bring you this interuption brougt to you by (see picture above). So until I continue or figure out where I am going with this "Marriage and Hell" series, here something I discovered. I just recently went through our bathroom and realized I had two large bottles of baby powder and two small ones.

WHAT AM I GOING TO DO WITH ALL THIS?

Besides powdering my girl's bum during diaper changes and dusting my white pair of VANS with it (which I only did in jr. high, don't ask why).

Ashamably, one bottle is from when B was born. Yes, my five, year old.

And yes, I brought it overseas. Don't laugh.

The other large bottle a volunteer left. So I did some research to find out what I could use it for. Let us just say the links pretty much all said the same thing.

Here is what I decided to do:

1. Sprinkle it over my matts and then vacuum over them.
2.When the bottle is empty, I am going to dismantle it and put it in the dishwasher. Then I am going to put flour in it and use it to dust pastries, bread, tortillas, rolls, etc.

Are there any other interesting uses for this?

You can put baking soda in it and dispense it as a cleaning agent. Chemical-free cleaning. And inexpensive.

I put baby powder in my arm pits when I go to a party so that I wouldn't sweat. When I go for a long walk I put baby powder in my shoes.
We take it to the beach! If you dump it on the kids and then rub them with the towel is makes the sand come of with less effort and less complaining.

Can I put you on my M.O.L.(mothers of littles) blog list for my blog?
