Bread, Babies, and Bats!

Last year a family of TEN catered to us in our temporary home before baby came. I asked for this bread recipe and it worked pretty well! She replaced a half of a yam instead of using Dough Enhancer.

I can't say I have seen a bat in Finland...yet. However, there was a very special one whom we celebrated 7 years of his life. I find I have to update my Star Wars vocabulary (old AND new), listen to his reasons why his UNO rules are right (seems to be the Finnish gene LOL), and numerous other joys that I get to learn from.

I still find it precious when he comes in the kitchen for afternoon snack, wraps his arms around me and say, "I love you, Mom!" following, "Can I get something to eat?" He is a super big brother and great at entertaining Little Super Walker S. We love you son!

TIP: Ikea food makes great party food...just saying. Just like they say in Finnish, "Easy Sausage", in this case, "Easy Meatballs!".
