Little Reminders Part I

Growing up I remember seeing plaques around the house with phrases on them. Some encouraging and some funny ones. One of them my mother hung near the kitchen,

"Cows may come and cows may go, but the bull in this place goes on forever."

Now Mikko and I have our own place which we strategically placed around the house things that remind of things important.

Let me tell you, not one day has gone by to where I am not reminded.

"Keep Calm Carry On" was noticed in a friend's living room when visiting Minnesota fall 2010. I love history so I looked into it and got one off of amazon. It's in a great spot where there is a lot of traffic, so I often see it.

The chalk board was inherited by a sweet girlfriend who moved to Canada. Thank you, Cathy! Here we put the children's weekly verse which is well seen from the dining table and living room, which is perfect for reviewing at meal times and devotions.
